City of the Dead

Feature Film

Inspired by the work of Enrique Metinides, City of the Dead follows Enrique, a crime photographer in 1950s Mexico City, whose obsession with documenting tragedy begins to blur the lines between reality and imagination. After an earthquake leaves the city in ruins, he begins to experience strange apparitions, unsettling visions, and encounters with a disfigured man who seems to be following him. Amid the chaos, Yola, a curious and enigmatic girl, bursts onto the scene and accompanies him on a journey where the line between the living and the dead grows increasingly blurred.
